ÇOCUK DOSTU KONAKLAMA İŞLETMELERİ: THE LAND OF LEGENDS KINGDOM HOTEL ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

In the hospitality industry, some of the enterprises have introduced themselves as child-friendly tourism enterprises in order to take the lead in competition. Throughout the world and in Turkey, yet the determination of the criteria on this issue, is thought to be beneficial to the industry. It is desirable that this study sheds light on the internal spatial approaches in defining the criteria of child-friendly hotels. In the scope of the study, the relevant literature was searched. Then "The Land of Legends Kingdom Hotel" operating in Antalya-Belek which have been established as the first child-themed hotel with world-class facilities in Turkey, has been examined through case studies of qualitative research methods. According to the findings, in addition to the health and safety of children, colorful and playful space designs that enrich the imagination of children under the supervision of pedagogues were included. In furniture, fittings and equipment, attention was paid to the needs of children together with their parents.
