AUDITORY ASPECT OF RAKI CULTURE: RAKI-MUSIC RELATIONSHIP

Abstract

The fact that music represents a food/beverage belonging to a certain culture is the subject of curiosity of this study. It is known that music belonging to a certain culture can sometimes evoke the food/drink of that culture in consumers. This situation is directly related to the culture that music represents. In this study, it is aimed to determine whether there is a music genre/genre that represent the raki culture by determining the music genre(s) in the raki culture and investigating the purpose(s) of the related music genres. In this qualitative research based on due diligence in descriptive order, the music genres representing the raki culture were determined and the reason for their representation of raki was examined.
