Abstract

Festivals are important elements of tourist attraction in terms of the destinations they are held. Determining the characteristics, motivations, festival satisfaction and revisit tendencies of the festival participants is of great importance in terms of the sustainability of the festivals and destination competitiveness. The International Fethiye Ölüdeniz Air Games Festival is one of the most important air sports festival that attracts many national and international tourists every year. The aim of the research is to determine the motivations, satisfaction levels and the relational structure of revisit tendencies of the participants of the International Fethiye Ölüdeniz Air Games Festival. A 35-item questionnaire developed for this purpose was applied to the participants of the International Fethiye Ölüdeniz Air Games Festival face-to-face on October 15-20, 2019, and a total of 414 questionnaire data were obtained. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed through the SPSS 25.0 package program and the findings were created. As a result of the study, it was determined that the motivation perceptions of the festival participants positively affected their satisfaction perception levels, their motivation perceptions positively affected their revisit tendency perception levels, and their satisfaction perceptions positively affected their revisit tendency perception levels.
