Abstract

Nowadays, in which the intense competition has been increasing, each passing day service companies should be able to use human resources efficiently and effectively. Because the expectations of customers about goods and services are constantly changing in tourism businesses, and these requests must be met quickly by the employees. Because of that, it is important to employ qualified employees with high individual performance levels and to employ them for a long time. The research was conducted to determine the effect of individual performance levels of food and beverage department employees working in five-star hotel businesses in Konya province on their intention to quit. In line with this, a questionnaire has been applied to all hotel food and beverage department employees in May and June 2019 by sampling method. The results show that it was revealed that the individual performance levels of the food and beverage department employees did not have a significant effect on their intention to leave, evaluation was made in line with the data obtained and suggestions were made for future research.
