There are many discussions on the subject of sustainability in academic and sectoral areas in travel agencies. However, there is a bottleneck at the point of solution and development, and sustainability cannot be adequately moved to sectoral practices. The purpose of the research is to determine the sustainability initiatives of travel agencies. In addition, it is aimed to identify the factors that prevent and encourage agencies to participate in sustainability activities. Data of the study's was compiled from the seven travel agents in Turkey which is member of Travellife. The data were obtained by semi-structured interview method. Descriptive analysis and content analysis methods were used to analyze the compiled data. The results show that travel agencies' sustainability activities are concentrated in product production and management, supply chain management and internal management. In addition, while the main factor that encourages travel agencies to move towards sustainable tourism activities is market-oriented benefits, it is determined that the most important factor preventing orientation is economic constraints. The research is important in the literature in terms of evaluating sustainability in the axis of travel agencies and in terms of being a guide for sectoral practitioners.
