LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES IN SOCIAL NETWORKING HABITS OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS: HACI BEKTAS VELI NEVSEHIR UNIVERSITY CASE

Abstract

This study aims to examine the university level of students use social networking sites. Haci Bektas Veli Nevsehir University in the 2014-2015 academic year, the study sample consisted of 203 students from the spring semester. In the study, data on the use of social networking sites "Social Networking Site Usage Survey" was obtained. Social skill level of the student, the state of being members of social networking sites, while they are members of social networking sites active in the social network numbers they use, the time spent on an average day on social networking sites, to the maximum intended use social networks, reviews of content on social networking sites writing is assessed by the state.

According to the survey; It was determined that the majority of college students use social networks. The purpose to social networks, add their own photos, online chatting, welcome to the videos on the internet, share photo sand anecdotes, that it was observed.
