The aim of the study is to reveal the attitudes of the students of the tourism guidance department towards their profession. For this purpose, open-ended interview questions created by the researchers were used to collect data using the interview technique with the students of the Tourism Guidance Department of Sinop University. These interviews were recorded on the form and their reliability was ensured. The data obtained were transferred to Microsoft Excel, classified and made meaningful. According to the tabulated data, it was concluded that the students experienced employment anxiety and that they achieved communication and personal development as well as creating tourism awareness in the courses they were given. In addition, it was concluded that they consider the monthly earnings of the profession sufficient, that the cost of the application trip was too high, and that they would be encouraged to have language courses in rare languages and to have their income increased. In this context, it is recommended that directors of Tourism Guidance Department provide education on rare languages
