Forests are important natural attractions for countries. Forests, which are more frequent in rainy, low and humid regions, are a vital and dynamic renewable natural resource, which is the source of production of many different products, especially wood, and has its own balances. It contains many species such as trees, forest waters, wild animals and plants. Forest are never-ending fact as well as source of life for people. The forests have gradually become places where people are left out of their habitat and spend their free time. People are looking for fun, restful and time-consuming activities in their free time. These activities are expressed as recreational activities. Forests are among the alternative places preferred by individual sparticipating in recreational activities in their leisure time. That is why there is a relationship between human and nature in the context of recreation. Many of the resources used for recreation are within nature. Forest recreation areas are suitable areas for recreational activities. The ecological condition of these places is also important for the individuals involved in recreational activities. The aim of this research is to determine the ecological condition of forest recreational areas and to reveal their relation with recreation.
