Abstract

Employee behaviors and determining the effect of these behaviors on organizational performance are very important for effective and efficient use of human power in the tourism sector where service factor is a significant variable. In this respect, the concept of psychological capital is seen as an important factor affecting the outputs of employees and organizations. The aim of this study is to determine the psychological capital levels of kitchen employees and the differences between some demographic variables and psychological capital levels. For this purpose, the datas were obtained through questionnaires from the kitchen employees of four-star and five-star hotels in Nevşehir. According to the results of this study, there is a significant difference between psychological capital and gender, education, age and duration of employment.
