Abstract

It is observed that the share of halal travel, halal accommodation and halal eating-drinking is at an increasing level in global economy. This state features the Muslim Friendly Tourism concept, which is explained as the configuration of tourism activities and travel organizations within the framework of Islamic pillars. Within the Islamic Tourism activities carried out in the scope of Muslim Friendly Tourism, business travels create a section that develops day after day. With the exact name Meeting, Incentive, Congress, Events; MICE tourism organizations, which aim to increase the motivation levels of companies and are assessed within business travels, are considered to have a fairly good share within the world's tourism income. MICE tourism activities seem quite advantageous compared to other tourism organizations at the point of economic income and advantages. Within the study conducted based on that point, feasibility of MICE tourism activities for Muslim tourists and some practices in the Islamic geography are mentioned. Especially in recent times, Muslim friendly Tourism practices started to attract attention in Turkey as well. In this context, activities of MICE tourism were considered within the scope of Muslim Friendly Tourism, important points were determined and suggestions were developed
