Abstract

As with all healthy individuals, disabled individuals also have freedom of travel. As with all other individuals, disabilities are free to travel and participate in tourist activities without hindrances, but face a number of barriers. The purpose of this research; Is to put forward the expectations and the obstacles that the disabled people can participate in tourism activities. For this purpose, the studies on this subject in the literature will be analyzed and the factors affecting the participation of the disabled individuals in tourism activities will be revealed. The research is based on qualitative research method. Data were obtained from secondary sources in the study and screening and document analysis were used to obtain these data. As a result of the analysis, the reasons affecting the disabled people 's participation in tourism activities were evaluated under five main headings: reason of personal, reason of social, reason of hotel management, reason of local government origin and others.
