SAKARYA ÜNİVERSİTESİNDE TURİZM EĞİTİMİ ALAN ÖĞRENCİLERİN KIŞ TURİZMİNE BAKIŞ AÇILARI: BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Abstract

Winter tourism as a kind of alternative tourism in Turkey is seen as a new market opportunity and is projected to be developed. Within this period, it is expected that any individual or establishment at every level support tourism. Establishments offering tourism education are important foundations that might have a crucial role in shaping the future of tourism with human resource they provide for the tourism establishments and the sector. In this study, perspectives and perceptions of tourism students studying for an undergraduate are analyzed with the aim of making a contribution to the development of winter tourism. Population is composed of 160 students who are studying at Sakarya University. In this study, in which the questionnaire technique is used it is determined that tourism students studying for an undergraduate perceive winter tourism as a amusement, Excitement, mountaineering and Ice-skating activities. It was tried to measure the students' working attitudes in the winter tourism zone. The purpose of family education was measured in the view of winter tourism.
