In the study, probable scenarios to be experienced in tourism industry with measures taken post-COVID-19 that caused the world to be affected in 2020 are mentioned. The research was carried out based on exploratory research method. It aims to explain changes in tourism as a result of measures taken post-COVID-19, with probable scenarios. In the study, it was benefited from both future forecasts and expectations of tourism representatives (public institutions and tourism enterprises) as well as potential tourists’ perspectives. 62 local tourists were surveyed with four questions including demographics, travel frequency and tourism type in post-pandemic in April 2020. According to findings, it was determined that tourists would trend towards nature-based tourism in post-pandemic. On the other hand, as tourism representatives have stated, it is possible to say that there will be significant trend changes in travel agencies’ product diversity and preferred type of accommodation business in post-pandemic. If post-pandemic scenario is aimed at alternative tourism, it is probable that there will be tourism mobility in rural areas. Therefore, the interest in types of nature based tourism such as plateau tourism, eco-tourism, rural tourism and small-scale accommodation businesses will increase even more, there will be travels in numbers with fewer groups, transportation vehicles will serve as the same size but low capacity. However, it is noteworthy that responsible and sustainable tourism will increase with consideration of applications such as hygiene, cleaning and sanitation.
