Abstract

People's eating habits are changing day by day. One of the most important mass that experiences this change fairly is young people. Especially university students have an important place among these people. Changing social environment and the dynamic nature of the environment affects the students in terms of eating habits as it is in many respects. Repasts are the most important issue among eating habits. University students sometimes skip a meal. This study aims to reveal repasts which are skipped by university students’ and to its reasons. In this context in this research it is benefitted from quantitative analysis and questionnaire technique is preferred for data collection. As the results of analyses; dinner as main repast, night meal as snack repast are at least skipped repasts. The most important reason for skip a main repast is “I have no time” and “I have no habit” is the most important reason for skip a snack repast.
