4 criteria were defined to evaluate the career expectations of tourism educated employers according to their expectations. The findings indicated that students advanced their expectations. On the other hand, the most important factor that affects the level of occupational success is employers‟ giving importance to their career development. The least important factor in employers‟ career expectations is the idea of having a career in a different sector. There are no differences in terms of employers‟ perception of career expectations regarding their gender, the education they received and their working departments; however a reasonable important difference was confirmed between working hours within the sector.
