Experiential tourism is the result of a global movement towards experimental learning that requires active participation within the scope of different types of tourism, makes sense through direct experience of individuals. With the increase in competition between destinations and businesses, it is of particular importance in this process to produce unique products that will give visitors different experiences, especially in the cultural sphere. Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) elements can be important sources for experiential tourism in destinations, giving them the opportunity to develop new products and enrich existing tourism products. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the critical location of ICH elements within experiential tourism activities and the potential of Turkey, which has a rich inventory in this topic, to develop recreational products for experiential tourism. According to the results of the study carried out with literature review, it is understood that ICH assets, which provide a wide opportunity for active participation by experience, create an important potential for Turkish tourism and this potential can have an important role both in terms of developing new products and enriching the tourism product. On the other hand, in addition to the different potential benefits in the economic direction, it is understood that the use of ICH assets within the scope of experiential tourism can positively affect the sustainability of such heritage.
